Display name: You choose a name when creating or joining a game. This is not linked to any account or email address. If you share your results or a game replay is created, your display name and score are included (see Section 4).

Anonymous analytics: If you consent, we collect anonymous usage data (such as which pages are visited and how games are played). This data cannot identify you personally. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Game connections: When you play, our game server temporarily processes your connection to run the game. This data is not stored after you leave.

3. Who Helps Us Run the Game

We use a small number of trusted services to keep things running:

• Vercel — hosts the website and stores shared results and game replays
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage data, only loaded with your consent. See Google's privacy policy.

No personal data is shared with advertisers or marketing services.

4. What We Store

There are no user accounts. Your display name, cookie preference, and daily challenge progress are saved in your browser and stay on your device.

When you share game results or a replay is created, the following is saved online:

• Player display names and scores
• Game settings and round details
• A timeline of what happened during the game

This data is only accessible via shareable links and is not connected to any account or personal information beyond the display name you chose for that game.

6. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:

• Turn off analytics cookies at any time on our Cookie Policy page
• Ask us what data we hold about you
• Ask us to delete any data we hold about you

Shared results and replays only contain your chosen display name. If you want a specific replay or result removed, just email us at hello@vowelmovement.fun.

7. Children's Privacy

The game is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Where Data Is Processed

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may process data in different countries. By using the game, you agree to this. Vercel complies with applicable data protection standards.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
